30 Hours in Vegas, Baby! Some of It Spent with Elton John!
My sole purpose in making this particular trip to Las Vegas was to see Elton John perform at his The Red Piano concert at Caesars Palace Colosseum. And he did not disappoint! He was definitely worth waiting a lifetime to see!
A live concert (of course, alive!) with Elton John has been on my “bucket list” long before I ever knew what a bucket list was.
It has nothing to do with death quickly approaching, as it does in the movie with Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. Deep inside my head has always been a plethora of ideas, things to do, places to go — stuff you often never get to do but would love to. Don’t you have some of this stuff going on in your head, too? I think everybody does. Sometimes life works out, opportunities come up and you can cross something fun off your list. This is one of those times. The opportunity was there — Elton was performing for several weeks in Las Vegas. All I had to do was take the first step — verbalize what a great idea it would be to see Elton in concert! And then the ball started rolling!
Come along for the ride as I fill you in on how we spent 30 hours in Vegas!

Wasn’t the show just unbelievable. I had a chance to see his Red Piano show over the summer and I couldn’t stop raving about it. I just finally got around to writing about it.
